The lucky bells situated outside Hanazono 308 are mounted at 308 metres above sea level.


Hanazono 308 is in fact situated at 308 metres above sea level, or exactly 1,000 metres below the peak of Mount Niseko-Annupuri. That means exactly 1,000 vertical metres of non-stop pure perfect powder snow to be enjoyed, from the very top of Mount Niseko-Annupuri to the doorstep of Hanazono 308. It is an adventure that can only be found only on the most coveted side of Niseko mountain, the Hanazono side.

The lucky bells situated outside Hanazono 308 are mounted at 308 metres above sea level. They are available for all to ring—just for luck.

Beautiful morning today for the 22nd in Niseko with 65cms of pow dumped in the past 24hrs..


Blizzard conditions yesterday and its a beautiful morning today. Not as much as usual overnight, 10cms however 65cms fell in the past 24hrs. Tobogganing, snowmobiling and magic carpets are running. Most lifts should be spinning. The current snow depth at the base is around 135cms and 245 up top. Wind chill is down to - 20 degrees with a day time high of - 5. Westerly winds should be moderate averaging 15 to 35km/hr.

Sun and powder lines in the morning to heavy snow starting to fall at around 5pm yesterday in Niseko


We had over 40 cms overnight at the base, you can imagine what its like up top. 12 lifts and the Stomping Ground Terrain Park should be up and running. The current snow depth at the base is over a metre and over 2 metres up top. Wind chill is down to - 20 degrees with a day time high of - 5. Snow is forecast right through the weekend with some heavier falls due Sunday night, Monday.
